IdleLogic™ is a next-generation idle reduction system developed and powered by Ayantra, Inc. Ayantra was founded in 1996 by Ashok Teckchandani with a focus on generator monitoring and wireless equipment telemetry. Over the years, Ayantra’s monitoring systems have been deployed in commercial transport generators, SCADA systems, industrial applications, and demand response programs, helping customers manage critical assets with efficiency and reliability.
In recognition of its forward-thinking technologies, Ayantra was awarded the Innovation Award at the 2011 CES Show, underscoring its leadership in wireless monitoring and control systems.
Building on nearly three decades of innovation, Ayantra introduced IdleLogic™ to address one of the trucking industry’s most pressing challenges: fuel waste and emissions caused by unnecessary engine idling. By combining advanced telemetry with ruggedized idle reduction technology, IdleLogic™ enables fleets and drivers to reduce fuel costs, extend battery life, comply with idle regulations, and support sustainability goals.
Mr. Teckchandani has extensive experience in data communications and firmly believes that machine-to-machine (M2M) and the Internet of Things (IoT) represent the next major opportunities in the internet marketplace. Prior to Ayantra, Mr. Teckchandani founded AE Telelink and Adtech Micro Systems, which was later acquired by Sorrento Networks. Earlier in his career, he served as Engineering Manager at Telecommunications Technology Inc., a unit of General Signal. Mr. Teckchandani earned his Master of Science in Electrical Engineering from the Indian Institute of Technology and his MBA from the University of Santa Clara.
